Harvest lesson in PSHE

Based in a small village in the Amazon rainforest, the class had to contend with dry seasons, forest fires, wet seasons and floods as their (paper) food store was being wiped out after wave after wave of bad news announcements. Luckily, a charity came to their rescue and provided them with a greater range of food sources to help them to survive the different challenges that living in these areas can pose. The panic felt by the children in this game gave them just a small glimpse into the panic that the communities in these areas face for real.
